Innovative Hearing Test: BLACKOUT AT MT. EARVEREST

Engaging and encouraging young audiences to test their hearing capacities through hear.com’s fun and challenging Roblox brand world.

To engage with Gen Z and inform them of the possible risks of listening to loud music or games we designed a gamified hearing test in Roblox.

Players travel through the hear.com virtual brand world by trying to climb up Mount Earverest guided by the help of friendly voices. The more is heard the further players can advance through the

gameplay to try and switch the light back on. This experience significantly increases the time customers interact with the brand by creating a playful educational virtual space.

Jump'N'hear is divided into three quests that players must complete to test their hearing. In each quest, an animal character helps the user to hear their way to and up Mt. Earverest.

As the sound of water grows louder in the second quest, players hear audio clues that give direction and guide them through the darkness.

In the third quest, the users finally climb to the top of Mt. Earverest with some friendly help. The difficulty of the hearing test increases with each level.

Roblox is the perfect platform to create a brand universe to target young audiences. Roblox counts approximately 204 million users, of which 67% are under 16.
Jump’N’Hear making waves in the press

Since its release in march 2023, Jump’N’Hear has been making waves in the press and awards world. Shortlisted at the Cannes Lions, and Silver Winner of the New York Festivals in the category HEALTHSPAN: BEST USE, the Roblox brand experience has been recognised as a striking marketing campaign use. The picture below shows a full length article on the project in the PAGE Magazine. In addition, our CEO Julian Weiss has presented Jump’N’Hear during the Online Marketing Rockstar fair in Hamburg, Germany.
