Interactive Exhibition with WebAR

Increased visitor engagement in the Porsche Pavilion

For Porsche AG, we realized the interactive exhibition “911 – The one and always” with which visitors to the Porsche Pavilion experience artworks related to the Porsche 911 in augmented reality.

As part of the '911 – The one and always' exhibition in Autostadt Wolfsburg, Porsche wants to stage the Porsche 911 not only spatially, but also virtually.

Our solution: An interactive exhibition design that takes visitors on an emotional journey of discovery through Porsche's virtual brand world. Based on the artworks, we created twelve WebAR experiences that flank the sports car icon in the space and showcase the brand in an innovative and interactive way. The exhibition attracts several thousand visitors of different age groups every month. In the concept and design, we paid particular

attention to the easy accessibility of the experience, which is seamlessly integrated into the spatial staging. Visitors scan a QR code, hold their smartphone to the motifs and immerse themselves in the virtual brand world. The result: everyone receives a very individual brand experience and becomes an actor in the exhibition themselves. In this way, we increase the length of stay and brand engagement.

For each of the twelve artworks, we designed and developed an individual experience that reinforces the message of the motif. To do this, we animated the Porsche 911, shapes and typography in different ways and emphasize the uniqueness of each artwork.
